The Korean Genome Project.

The Korean Genome Project is an openfree genome project that collects, analyzes, and distributes Korean genomes.

It is also known as the Korean Personal Genome Project (KPGP) as it is an open project for common people as well as scientists. KPGP is accommodating the philosophy of PGP (Personal Genome Project).

The first Korean Genome Project was sequencing and analyzing Dr. Kim Seong-Jin which is the first full Korean genome (he is actually an USA nationality) ever sequenced.

The first Korean Reference Genome built is KOREF.

AK1 Genome: AK1 is another Korean genome that was sequenced after SJK genome in 2009.
